Homeless Charity Night in Aid of Tabor House

I am hosting an event on Friday 8th July, a fundraiser for a small homeless project based in Birmingham; it’s called Tabor House.

Tabor House is a permanent, volunteer led homeless project that enables individuals to achieve their own goals. Working on an individual basis, the volunteers and staff are able to tailor the support that is necessary for each person.

All the support and accommodation that is offered is free. The only cost that is required by the guest is that of investing in themselves by working and engaging with us in order to achieve their goals.

This format has been highly successful with most people leaving Tabor House in a much more stable situation. We offer ongoing support post-move on so that if people do need any extra support, we will be there for them.

Tabor House offers guests a bed, access to a communal kitchen with a full pantry of food, a hot shower and the endless supply of empathy, understanding, strength and support.Tabor House do not charge any fees and rely heavily on kind donations from good people like yourselves, now, isn’t that just incredible!

For this reason I am trying to raise as much money as possible for Tabor House to ensure it remains at the center of the homeless support infrastructure in Birmingham. Please join us on the 8th July at the Stoke Prior Social Club from 8pm onward for some live music, a raffle and drinks as we raise the roof to support those without one.
