Families and festive film fans can look forward to an enchanting Christmas adventure this winter as THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride returns to Birmingham Moor Street Station for a memorable steam-hauled journey filled with seasonal magic.
Departing on selected dates in November and December 2026, the experience invites passengers into cosy, lantern-lit carriages, where the world of the classic Christmas tale unfolds through memorable scenes as the steam train journeys towards the North Pole.
Passengers are encouraged to arrive in their pyjamas and step straight into the adventure as the story comes to life around them. Excitement builds on the platform as families wait to board THE POLAR EXPRESS™, before the journey continues with dancing chefs, the conductor’s famous golden-ticket punch and the first gift of Christmas from Father Christmas: a silver sleigh bell for those who believe.
Presented by PNP Events in partnership with Birmingham Moor Street, Rail Events Inc. and Warner Bros., this official theatrical production recreates the film’s festive energy through live performers, storytelling, singing, dancing as everyone enjoys a hot chocolate and delicious cookie at their table.
The central Birmingham location gives everyone the perfect excuse to make a full festive day of it, with the city’s Christmas markets, seasonal food and drink, shops, restaurants and attractions all within easy reach of the station.
Worldwide, the much-loved production welcomes more than 1.5 million riders across 54 locations each year, making it one of the most popular festive rail experiences of its kind.
Prices start from: Classic £56.00, First Class £71.00, depending on date and time, with flexible payment options available to help families book early and spread the cost over three months at no extra charge.
