My name is Jo Edwards.

I have an incredible family including my partner and 2 sons who are my absolute world. We have a wonderfully playful and handsome dog called Alfred who we love walking and spending our time with. Luckily I am outdoorsy and enjoy walking aswell as getting mucky! I have a passion for dancing!

As a child I really enjoyed tap and ballet, infact I still tap dance now. If I hear music I have to dance because I cannot resist good music and a dancefloor. I love karaoke and sing every chance I get! I might not be the best singer but it’s fun and my top 3 go to songs are sweet dreams by the Eurythmics, Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice and Blister in the Sun by Violent Femmes. I enjoy the whole cinema experience. My favourite genres of film are horror, zombie and thrillers although my favourite film of all time is True Romance and I do have a huge fondness for Quentin Tarantino films.

Music is my passion. Music is hugely important to me and has been since I was very little. My parents have instilled this strong connection, need and love of music into me. When younger I attended many gigs and camped at festivals regularly. Glastonbury was amazing, especially in the 1990’s. It was such an adventure from meeting Ian Brown to jumping over the fences to get in! Wild times! My first ever gig was James at the Aston Villa Leisure Centre when I was 15 years old. My favourite band ever is Led Zeppelin.

I have such a wide and varied taste in music so I have called my show Jo’s Jukebox and I play so many different types of really good music from all the decades.
