Blues Café is a weekly Blues show presented by Steve James in the UK
The Show :-
- Blues music is played from the 1800’s to present day with artist and song information discussed before the song is played.
- A non-Blues tune is played called ‘The Joker in the Pack’.
- New Blues talent is introduced and encouraged to contribute to the show.
- Occasional interviews with Blues artists are broadcast.
Listeners can contribute to the show by :-
- Requests and dedications.
- Choosing two blues tunes in a row. (‘Have a go at two in a row’ slot)
- Selecting a Blues tune ‘Something old something new’ slot. Same tune different artist.
